Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1,700 g orange(s)
  • 2 lemons, juice
  • 2 bananas
  • ½ tonka bean(s), grated
  • ½ vanilla pod(s), including the pulp
  • 1 tsp ginger root, grated
  • 500 g gelling sugar 3:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the oranges, remove the white pith, and cut into large pieces (collect any juice that runs out and add it to the mixture). Remove any seeds. Place the oranges in a large saucepan along with the sliced ​​bananas, lemon juice, tonka bean zest, vanilla seeds, grated ginger, and gelling sugar and puree. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring. Let it simmer for at least three minutes. Then immediately pour into prepared jars. Makes approximately 6 jars of 300g each.
