Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 950 g apricot(s), fresh, finely diced
  • 50 g almonds, sliced
  • 1 kg gelling sugar, 1:1
  • 4 tbsp Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 25 minutes

Combine the apricot cubes and gelling sugar and let it steep for 3 hours. Add the flaked almonds and bring the mixture to a boil. After the specified cooking time (as indicated on the gelling sugar package), test the setting time. If the consistency is satisfactory, stir in the Amaretto and pour the jam into clean, preheated jars, secure with twist-off lids, and turn upside down for 5 minutes.
