Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g hazelnuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 jar Nutella
  • 50 g pine nuts
  • 1 dashes mineral water
  • oil
  • Powdered sugar or chocolate glaze

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Also great warm as a dessert with ice cream! (Makes 14 muffins)

Preheat the oven to 190°C. Line a muffin tin with paper baking cups. Combine the flour, hazelnuts, baking powder, eggs, sugar, pine nuts, cream, and mineral water to form a batter. Then, in a bowl, heat the butter in the microwave until softened. Add the melted butter to the batter. Heat 350g of Nutella in the microwave (careful! Don’t overheat!) and add it to the batter. Mix everything thoroughly. Heat 150g of Nutella with a drizzle of oil in the microwave and mix well. Fill the muffin tins with the batter, ensuring the bottoms are well covered. Then place a teaspoon of warmed Nutella in the center of each muffin. Then top each muffin with batter until the tin is well filled. Place the tin in the oven for about 20 minutes. Be careful: the muffins shouldn’t be overcooked. They should still be moist in the center. Finally, decorate with powdered sugar or chocolate icing if desired. Insider tip: Serve the muffins warm with vanilla ice cream!
