Porridge with almond milk and chia seeds

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup almond milk (almond drink) with vanilla flavor, e.g. from Alrpo
  • 3 tbsp oat flakes, fine
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • Fruit of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring a cup of almond milk to a boil with the oats and chia seeds, simmer for about 5 minutes, and then let it rest for a few minutes. If you prefer a thicker porridge, add a few more oats. Serve on a plate and garnish with fresh fruit of your choice. Tastes great with strawberries, raspberries, grapes, or bananas. I eat this delicious porridge every day for breakfast; it keeps me full for hours.
