Oven baguettes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 small baguettes
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 pepper, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • ½ tsp thyme, dried
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

quick, baked baguettes

Cut the baguettes into three pieces and slice lengthwise. Finely chop the onion, chili pepper, and garlic clove. Mix the crème fraîche, cheese, flour, onion, garlic, and spices into a mixture. The flour helps the spread stick to the bread and prevent it from running off during baking. Spread the spread on the baguettes. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes, until the baguettes are browned to your liking. Instead of fresh baguettes, you can also use baguettes that have yet to be baked. Of course, don’t cut them into three pieces.
