Italian ham and minced meat rolls à la Sandra

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 300 g minced beef
  • 6 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 tsp Calabrese pesto
  • 200 g cream
  • 100 g mozzarella, grated
  • 1 package of tomatoes, chunky, with herbs
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • herbs, Italian
  • sweet bell pepper(s)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Delicious and quick dish – great for the party buffet

Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, and paprika and mix in the pesto. Distribute the mixture in strips in the center of the ham slices, roll them up, and place them seam-down in a baking dish. Mix the tomatoes with the cream, adding a little seasoning if desired. Spread the mixture over the rolls and sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake in the oven at about 200°C for 30 minutes. This goes well with any kind of pasta or rice seasoned with Mediterranean spices.
