Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g pasta of your choice
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- some oil
- 80 g cooked ham, diced
- 80 g chorizo, diced
- 400 ml tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
- e.g. Parmesan, freshly grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions and drain. Meanwhile, sauté the onion and garlic in a large pan with a little oil. Add the ham and chorizo and cook. Pour in the tomato sauce and bring to a boil. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Divide between two plates and serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. This recipe comes from our friend Rolando, a chef at the Paradisus Rio de Oro Hotel in Cuba.
