Last minute Christmas gifts – easy homemade liqueur

We need three glass bottles, each with a capacity of 250 ml. First, melt the white chocolate over a double boiler. Make sure the water doesn’t touch the melting pot containing the chocolate. The chocolate should melt solely from the steam. Once the chocolate is completely melted, sift the powdered sugar into a bowl and add the egg. Beat the ingredients thoroughly for 3-5 minutes. During this time, the chocolate can cool slightly; otherwise, it can’t be added to the sugar and egg mixture while it’s still hot, which will make scrambled eggs, and that’s not what you want. When the chocolate is at room temperature, carefully fold it into the egg mixture. Combine everything in a saucepan, then add the cream and Amaretto. Bring the liqueur to a boil and then simmer at low heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent it from burning. Taste the liqueur and add more sweetener or spices if desired. We can pour the still-hot liqueur into clean glass bottles. I used a small funnel for this. Finally, once the bottles have cooled (after 60 minutes), we label the bottles and decorate them with ribbons, bows, baubles, and a lovely Christmas greeting. This really quick, last-minute gift is ready.
