Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 sheep’s cheeses
  • 2 bell peppers, green
  • 4 tomatoes
  • some basil
  • some thyme
  • pepper
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bulgarian style

Place the feta cheese in a slab in the baking dish. If the slice of feta cheese is too thick, simply cut it in half. Roughly chop the bell peppers and place them on top. Add the roughly chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle with the seasonings and finally top with the raw eggs (as you would with a fried egg). Cover the whole thing with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven at approximately 180 degrees C until the eggs are set, removing the foil if necessary.
