After Eight Cheesecake

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 175 g After-Eight confectionery (chilled)
  • 300 g biscuits (butter biscuits)
  • 100 g margarine (Sanella)
  • 4 eggs
  • 160 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g cheese (layered cheese)
  • 250 g sour milk
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 60 g chocolate decoration (chocolate sprinkles)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Line a 26 mm diameter springform pan with baking paper. Cut the After Eight into small pieces and crumble the biscuits. Melt the butter and mix with the biscuit crumbs. Pour into the springform pan and press firmly into the base. Preheat oven to 175°C. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. In a second bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, cheesecake, and sour cream. Add the beaten egg whites, chocolate sprinkles, and After Eight pieces and fold in. Pour the mixture into the springform pan and bake for about 65 minutes.
