Almond Cake Ala Mom

The perfect almond cake ala mom recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 140 g Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 100 g Cream
  • 100 g Almond sticks
  • Fat for the shape
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection 160 degrees). Grease the springform pan (24 cm diameter).
  1. Melt 2,100 g butter. Beat eggs with sugar until frothy. Stir in flour, fold in melted butter. Bake the dough in the pan for 20 minutes in the middle.
  1. In the meantime, heat the remaining 40 g butter, honey and cream and cook for two minutes. Add the almond and stir in well. Spread the almond mixture on the cake and bake for another 15 minutes.
