Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 200 g almond flakes
- 250 g butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine eggs, 1 cup of sugar, flour, cream, and baking powder to form a smooth batter. Spread the batter onto a baking sheet and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, bring the flaked almonds, butter, 1 cup of sugar, and the milk to a boil in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and spread the mixture evenly over the batter. Bake for another 10 minutes, until the almonds are golden brown. I use an empty cream jug to measure the ingredients.
