Almond Cake À La Heiko
The perfect almond cake à la heiko recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough
- 200 ml Cream
- 200 g Sugar
- 250 g Flour
- 4 Eggs
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Baking powder
For covering
- 125 g Melted butter
- 200 g Almonds
- 200 g Sugar
- 5 tbsp Milk
- Put the sugar in a bowl and mix with the vanilla sugar. Add the eggs and stir with the hand mixer. Now add the flour with the baking powder and mix with the cream.
- Spread the dough evenly on the baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, let the butter melt in a saucepan. Then stir in the almonds, sugar and milk.
- Take the dough out of the oven and spread the almonds on the dough. Now put the cake in the oven again for 20 minutes.
