Almond-lemon hearts

Ingredients for 30 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 pack of flavoring (Citroback)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 200 g almonds, ground
  • 100 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

without flour

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy, then stir in the remaining ingredients and the almonds. The dough is ready to use: Roll out thinly and cut out hearts. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 8-10 minutes until light golden, then let cool. Make a glaze with powdered sugar and a little lemon juice and brush it over the cookies.
