Almond muffins with chocolate chips

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar (Bourbon vanilla)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of baking soda
  • e.g. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g almond(s), peeled, ground
  • 1 pack of chocolate (chocolate drops)
  • some milk if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

enough for 12 pieces

Cream the softened butter with the salt, baking soda, and sugar until fluffy. Then add the eggs and mix in. Now add the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and ground almonds. If the batter is too stiff, add a little milk. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the wells of a prepared muffin tin. Place in a preheated oven at 175°C (conventional oven: 160°C, gas mark 2) and bake for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
