Almond waffles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g margarine or butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.06 liters of lukewarm water
  • 1 tbsp rum or 1 bottle rum flavoring
  • 100 g almonds, chopped
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 7 minutes

Melt the margarine or butter. Whisk the fat with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix thoroughly. Alternately add the flour (mixed with baking powder and sifted) and lukewarm water. Finally, mix in the rum and almonds. Sprinkle the baked waffles with powdered sugar.
