Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g dark chocolate (e.g. block chocolate)
  • 70 g chocolate, white
  • 200 g almonds
  • 150 g walnuts
  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • Butter for the mold
  • semolina for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

without flour, with white and dark chocolate

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Chop the chocolate and chop it finely with the almonds and walnuts in a food processor, but not too finely! If the pieces are no larger than 5 mm, they’re perfect. Mix the softened butter with the marzipan mixture, vanilla sugar, and sugar using a mixer. Then add the egg yolks, one at a time, to the butter and marzipan mixture and mix with a wooden spoon. Now add the nut and chocolate mixture and mix everything well. Beat the egg whites until frothy and gently fold in. Grease a small springform pan (20 cm) with butter, sprinkle with a little semolina, and pour in the cake mixture. Place the whole thing in the oven, and after about 45 minutes, you’ll have a delicious, moist almond and walnut cake.
