Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 ml milk
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 50 g semolina (soft wheat)
- 50 g brittle
- 150 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 200 g mascarpone
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 jar cherry(s), Amarena cherries (370 g)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Bring the milk to a boil, stir in the sugar and semolina. Remove from the heat and allow to swell. Stir in the brittle. Mix the quark with the mascarpone and vanilla sugar. Drain the amaretto cherries, reserving the syrup and setting 4 cherries aside. Layer the semolina, amaretto cherries, a little syrup, and the quark mixture in dessert glasses. Garnish each with a dollop of semolina and an amaretto cherry, and drizzle with amaretto syrup. Refrigerate the dessert for about 1 hour before serving.
