Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g dates
- 150 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp orange(s), grated peel
- 1 tbsp Amaretto
- 2 tbsp almonds, chopped

Slice the dates lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through, and remove the pits. Toast the almonds in a pan. Combine the cream cheese with the orange juice, orange zest, and Amaretto; mix well. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag, preferably with a star nozzle, and pipe a distinctive stripe of the mixture onto each date. Chill thoroughly in the refrigerator and sprinkle with the toasted almonds just before serving.
