American chocolate cake with marzipan

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g marzipan or Persipan (raw mixture)
  • 160 g butter, soft
  • Salt
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 14 egg yolks
  • 160 g flour
  • 120 g cocoa powder
  • 14 protein
  • 320 g sugar
  • 400 g dark chocolate coating
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead the marzipan with butter, salt, and vanilla sugar. Add the egg yolks and mix well. Sift the flour and cocoa powder. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff, then fold the egg whites into the batter. Now stir in the flour and cocoa powder. Grease a 26 cm springform pan, pour in the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 50 to 60 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath and then spread it thickly over the cake. Then refrigerate the cake for 1 hour until ready to serve.
