Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g white cabbage, cut into fine strips
  • 1 m.-sized carrot(s), cut into fine strips
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • ½ tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • ½ tsp celery seeds or celery salt
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Combine the white cabbage and carrot in a large bowl. In another bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, mustard, celery seed or celery salt, salt (a little less if using celery salt), pepper, and sugar. Add to the cabbage mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Season again before serving.
