American Dressing "Special"

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 130 g mayonnaise
  • 40 g tomato ketchup
  • 30 g orange soda
  • 10 g liquid from pickled, mild pepper
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • e.g. barbecue sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

You’ll also need a hand blender and a suitable, slim container. Add all ingredients to the container and mix thoroughly. If you like it a bit smoky, you can add a little barbecue sauce if desired. I usually use 1-2 teaspoons. The smokiness goes particularly well with burgers or finger foods; I’d rather omit the barbecue sauce for salads. This recipe comes from a pizzeria with a delivery service and was mostly used for salads, croques, burgers, and finger foods like chicken chips. Even though the ingredients are very different from those of other American dressings, I can only say: It’s worth it!
