Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 1 slice(s) processed cheese
  • butter
  • 1 leaf lettuce, green

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Brush the slices of toast with butter. Place one slice, buttered side down, in a heated frying pan. Then arrange the melted cheese and ham on top. Place the other slice of toast, buttered side up, on top. Cook over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes, then flip and toast for another 3 to 4 minutes on the other side until golden brown. When the cheese is melted and both slices are golden brown, remove from the pan. Remove one slice of toast to place the lettuce leaf on. Re-cover, slice the grilled ham and cheese sandwich diagonally, and serve.
