Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g einkorn wholemeal flour, extra fine
  • 150 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 60 g oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 pack of cream of tartar baking powder
  • 1 jar applesauce or sour cherries
  • 150 g einkorn wholemeal flour, extra fine
  • 75 g butter
  • 75 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Knead all the ingredients for the base with a dough hook for 10 minutes. Knead all the ingredients for the crumble topping until crumbly. Place the dough for the base on a lightly floured work surface. Divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll out each piece of dough lengthwise or flatten with the palm of your hand and shape. Place the pieces of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread each with 1 tablespoon of applesauce or 1 spoonful of crushed sour cherries from the jar. Crumble the crumble topping over the top. Bake in an oven preheated to 170°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes on the middle rack until golden brown. Let cool and enjoy.
