Andalusian Sangria

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ liter red wine
  • ½ orange(s)
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • ½ liter lemonade (e.g. Fanta)
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon or half a cinnamon stick
  • Ice, cubed

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Finely dice the orange and lemons. Place them in a pitcher, add the red wine and lemonade. Add the cinnamon or cinnamon stick. Stir briefly. Fill the glasses with ice cubes and top with sangria. It’s important not to leave the fruit in the liquid for long, as otherwise it will taste stale. I enjoyed this sangria on vacation in Malaga and make it often at home, too. It’s ideal for hot summer days when you have guests. It’s not important to use an expensive red wine; a cheaper one will do just fine. Enjoy!
