Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g cranberries, whole berries dried
  • 400 g sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 750 ml schnapps (grain)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 56 days; Total time approx. 56 days 20 minutes

Bring the cranberries and water to a boil and blend in a blender. Return the mixture to a saucepan, add the sugar, and bring to a boil. The sugar should be completely dissolved and form a syrupy mixture. Pour the mixture into a tightly sealed bottle along with all other ingredients. Let it steep in a cool place for about 4 weeks, shaking daily. Filter the liqueur and pour it into clean bottles, then let it steep for another 4 weeks.
