Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 m.-sized sausages (cooked sausages)
- 4 slice(s) cheese, Swiss
- 8 slices of breakfast bacon
- 1 tbsp, clarified butter

Cut the cooked sausages (Wiener, Frankfurter, etc.) lengthwise. Cut the cheese so that it roughly matches the shape of the sausages. Top the sausages with it. Put the sausage halves back together and wrap each sausage with two slices of bacon. Secure with toothpicks. Quickly fry the sausages on both sides in clarified butter until crispy, so that too much cheese doesn’t run out. I serve this with fries or Bavarian potato salad.
