Anise Cookies
The perfect anise cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Pc. Free range eggs
- 150 g Powdered sugar
- 2 Teaspoon (level) Anise powder
- 150 g Spelled flour
- Beat the eggs with powdered sugar to a light cream.
- Mix the anise with the flour and add gradually. Stir slowly with a mixer for at least 45 minutes.
- So long until the mass is really firm, white and as viscous as honey.
- Line baking trays with baking paper and butter, then properly dust with flour.
- Use a teaspoon to put small piles on the baking sheet.
- The dough should flow smoothly but not melt very much.
- Let it dry overnight, then preheat the oven to 150C and bake. Depending on the oven, 10-15 minutes.
- Usually small feet are formed. Unfortunately for me there were only two cookies. The others were without feet. I put far too little flour on the baking sheet. But that doesn’t detract from the taste.
