Cookies: Anise Cookies

The perfect cookies: anise cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 225 g Sifted powdered sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 225 g Sifted flour
  • 1,5 tsp Ground anise
  • Margarine and flour for the tray
  1. The ingredients must be measured exactly
  2. Beat the icing sugar and eggs with the whisk of the food processor until lightly creamy. (Hand mixer approx. 10 minutes at the highest level)
  3. Stir the flour and anise into the sugar mixture, tablespoon at a time. The mixture must be white and very viscous. and it shouldn’t bubble
  4. Fill the whole thing into a piping bag with a perforated nozzle.
  5. The baking sheet should be lined with baking paper and coated with margarine and dusted with flour. Now spray the mixture into piles of about 3 cm with a little space.
  6. The piles should be smooth on the surface, leave to dry for 3 hours at room temperature.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat, 160 ° C fan oven for 15 minutes.
  8. Annis cookies should stand on little feet and have a white cap … but taste good without feet too 😉
