Anke's Chocolate Crossies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g chocolate coating (milk chocolate coating)
  • 125 g cornflakes
  • 100 g almond(s), chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 15 minutes

makes about 60 pieces of confectionery

Crumble the cornflakes into small pieces and melt the chocolate coating in a double boiler. Melt the butter in a pan, add the almonds and vanilla sugar, and toast lightly. Add the cornflakes to the pan and stir in. Add to the melted chocolate coating and mix everything well. Using a teaspoon, place small heaps of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. This amount is enough for 2 baking trays, each with 30 Crossies. Let set for about 6 hours. Tip: Instead of milk chocolate coating, you can use any other chocolate coating or chocolate. The version with white chocolate coating and chopped hazelnuts is very tasty.
