Annis Tiroler Gröstl

The perfect annis tiroler gröstl recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Jacket potatoes
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Apple, approx. 150 g
  • 450 g Pork tenderloin
  • 125 g Ham cubes
  • 1 tbsp Dried marjoram
  1. Boil the potatoes with their peel until done, allow to cool a little, then peel and cut into thick slices. Fry in 3 tablespoons of hot sunflower oil in a large pan for approx. 15 minutes over medium heat, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Peel and dice the onions. Peel, core and roughly dice the apple. Cut the pork tenderloin into thin medallions. Sear them in the remaining oil in a pan. Add with onions, apples and diced ham to the potatoes, season with marjoram and fry for another 5 minutes. Season to taste and serve with beetroot.
