Ingredients
- Cream 1
- 375 g Whipped cream
- 300 g Milk chocolate
- Dough:
- 4 Eggs
- 100 g Sugar
- 75 g Flour
- 50 g Food starch
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- Cream 2
- 6 Medium apples
- Juice of one lemon
- 340 ml Milk
- 6 tbsp Milk
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 1 packet Custard powder
- Some flaked almonds
Instructions
- Heat the whipped cream and melt the coarsely chopped chocolate in it. Chill overnight.
- Separate eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff while pouring in the sugar. Stir in the egg yolks one at a time. Mix the flour, starch and baking powder and fold in. Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven (160 ° C - fan oven) for about 25-30 minutes. Let cool down.
- Peel, quarter and core apples and cut into small pieces. Steam with lemon juice, 3 tablespoons of water and 1 tablespoon of sugar for about 5 minutes. Bring 340 ml milk to the boil. Mix the rest of the milk with the 3 tablespoons of sugar and the vanilla pudding powder and stir into the boiling milk. Let simmer for approx. 1 min. Immediately fold in the apple pieces (including juice).
- Cut the biscuit once horizontally and close a ring around the bottom. Pour in the pudding mixture and put the 2nd base on top. Chill for at least 1 hour.
- Whip the chocolate cream and coat the cake all around. Set aside some of the cream for a few tuffs and decorate the cake with it. Sprinkle with flaked almonds.
