Apple and Walnut Muffins

The perfect apple and walnut muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Apples
  • 120 g Walnuts
  • 240 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 200 g Sugar brown
  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 170 ml Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  1. Mix the flour with the baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Slice the apples. Roughly chop the walnuts.
  1. In a large bowl, stir the butter with the sugar until frothy and then stir in the eggs and vanilla extract. Finally add the buttermilk and stir everything into a homogeneous mass.
  1. Quickly stir the flour mixture into the wet mixture. Finally fold in the grated apples and chopped walnuts.
  1. Bake the muffins at 190 ° C for about 20 minutes (stick test!). Enjoy your meal!
