Apple-banana casserole with almonds

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 small apples
  • 100 g almond(s) (flakes)
  • 2 large bananas, ripe
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 pinch of vanilla, ground
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • possibly apple or pear syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash, quarter, and thinly slice the apples. Layer the apple slices in a baking dish and sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Peel the bananas, break them into pieces, and whisk them together with the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, cream, and fruit sweetener, if desired. Pour the mixture over the apple slices. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes and serve warm with a few scoops of vanilla ice cream. Preparation time: 25 minutes
