Apple cake with almond glaze

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 70 g sugar
  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 ½ tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 5 apples, sour
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 6 tbsp sweet cream
  • 3 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 100 g almond flakes
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for a baking pan with a diameter of 26 cm

Grease the springform pan and line the bottom with baking paper. Knead together the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg, and butter or margarine and place in the springform pan. Pull the edges up slightly and press down. Top with the peeled, chopped apples. For the glaze, melt the butter, add the sugar, cream, flour, and flaked almonds, and pour over the cake. Bake at 180-200°C for approximately 45 minutes. For a 26 cm diameter baking pan.
