Apple cake with cocoa

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 5 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 g yogurt
  • 200 ml oil
  • 4 apples, sour
  • 3 tbsp apricot jam
  • 2 tbsp water
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Mix the flour with the cocoa and baking powder. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar, add the milk and yogurt and continue beating. Finally, add the oil, then gradually add the flour and prepare the batter. Grease a 26 cm springform pan and pour the batter into it. Peel the apples and cut them into quarters, cut out the cores and score them. Spread the apples on the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 160°C and bake for another 10 minutes. Spread the apricot jam on the warm cake (simply mix the apricot jam with water). When the cake has cooled completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
