Beef pan with mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg beef
  • n. B. Oil
  • ½ red bell pepper(s)
  • ½ bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 12 shallots
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Pul Biber
  • n. B. Thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cut the meat into small pieces and brown them, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes, as beef takes a bit longer. If there’s no liquid left, add a little more boiling water. Once the meat is cooked, add olive oil, the finely chopped bell peppers, garlic, and shallots, and fry. Season to taste, add the mushrooms, and cook for about five more minutes.
