Apple Chest Cake

The perfect apple chest cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 100 ml Oil
  • 250 g Flour
  • 7 g Baking powder
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 150 ml Buttermilk
  • 1 Apple
  • Lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Beat the eggs until frothy. Add sugar and vanilla sugar and stir well. Then stir in the oil and buttermilk. Mix flour with baking powder, add and stir everything well.
  2. Peel and core the apples and cut into cubes, drizzle with a little lemon juice. Grease a loaf pan well, pour in half of the batter, distribute the apples on top and pour in the remaining batter.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Put the cake in the oven after 15 minutes slightly cut lengthways and bake for another 30-35 minutes.
  4. Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool and dust with powdered sugar.
