Apple chips à la Katinka

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 apples, sour
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Slice the two unpeeled tart apples very thinly using a mandoline and brush with 3-4 tablespoons of lemon juice. Brush the oven rack lightly with oil, place the apple slices on it, and dry in a preheated oven at 100°C (212°F) / 80°C (180°F) on the second rack from the bottom for 1 hour. If you want to make the apple chips in advance, you can store them between layers of parchment paper in a tin. They’ll stay nice and crispy. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that “yummy” result. Enjoy drying and yummy!
