Apple-Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 250 ml water, cow’s milk, soy milk or similar
  • possibly honey or agave syrup
  • 1 apple
  • n. B. Fruits of your choice (e.g. strawberries)
  • some cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Oatmeal, filling

Pour the liquid into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, peel and chop the apple if desired. Once the liquid is boiling, add the oats and stir. Cook on high for about a minute, stirring to prevent the porridge from burning. For a little sweetness, stir in a little honey or agave syrup. Season the porridge with cinnamon. Then add about half of the apple to the porridge, reduce the heat slightly, and simmer until the porridge reaches the desired consistency. When the porridge is ready, transfer it to a bowl and scatter the remaining apple pieces, strawberries if desired, and a little more cinnamon over the top.
