Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter, soft
- 150 g sugar
- 1 large egg(s)
- 3 pts vanilla sugar
- 400 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 800 g apples
- 1 tbsp cinnamon

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
for 12 pieces
Grease a 26 cm springform pan. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven). Quickly knead the butter, sugar, egg, vanilla sugar, flour, and baking powder into crumbs. Cover the springform pan with half of the crumbs. Peel and core the apples, and cut into wedges. Place the apple slices on top of the crumbs and dust with cinnamon. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top. Bake the crumb cake on the middle rack of the oven for about 50 minutes, until the top is nicely browned. Let cool before slicing. Cut into 12 pieces.
