Apple Egg Pie

The perfect apple egg pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the curd

  • 3 Eggs
  • 50 g Buckwheat flour
  • 50 g Wheat flour
  • 1 Pr Salt
  • 250 g Quark
  • 1 tbsp Lemon sugar

aside from that

  • Applesauce
  • 3 Apples
  • Lemon juice
  1. Whisk milk with egg, salt and flour very well and let soak for 20 minutes. In the meantime, peel the apples, carefully cut out the core and cut the apple into thin slices. Drizzle with lemon juice. Mix the quark with the sugar, add a little lemon juice if necessary. Heat some oil in a pan, pour in some batter and turn the pan so that the batter is spread out. (The pancakes should be very thin) Immediately place apple slices on top. If the underside is browned, turn it over. Proceed in the same way with the rest of the dough. Keep the finished pancakes warm. Fold up the pancakes and serve with a little quark and a little apple sauce.
