Apple Fritters As Dessert
The perfect apple fritters as dessert recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the dough (enough for approx. 8 cakes)
- 100 g Flour
- 2 Piece Eggs
- 150 ml Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
also:
- 2 Piece Large tart apples
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- Clarified butter for frying (or other fat)
for the side dishes:
- Vanilla ice cream
- Custard
- Fresh fruits
- Possibly some whipped cream
- For the dough, mix the flour, eggs, milk and salt into a smooth, slightly thicker dough. Let it soak for 10 minutes. You can also prepare the dough very well and only stir it again later during preparation. (You can bake leftovers as pancakes.)
- Peel the apples, use the apple cutter to generously remove the core. Cut 4 slices approx. 1 cm wide from the center of each apple. Use the rest otherwise or simply eat it up. Pour the lemon juice over it.
- Let the fat heat up well. Mix the cinnamon and sugar on a plate.
- Now dip each apple slice in the batter and immediately place in the hot fat and fry until golden. Turn once.
- While the cakes are in the pan, you can prepare and decorate the plates very well. See pictures. Or let your imagination run wild.
- Now turn the cakes from the pan directly in the cinnamon sugar and distribute them on the plates. Serve warm, then they taste best.
