Apple Crispy Dessert with Cinnamon Cream

The perfect apple crispy dessert with cinnamon cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Tart apples
  • 250 ml Apple juice
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 packet Custard powder
  • 15 g Butter
  • 25 g Oatmeal
  • 25 g Sunflower seeds
  • 25 g Shaved hazelnut kernels
  • 25 g Sugar brown
  • 20 g Raisins
  • 200 g Cream, sweet
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 0,25 tsp Ground cinnamon
  1. For the apple compote, peel the apples, quarter the core and cut into pieces. Bring the apple pieces to the boil with apple juice, sugar and lemon juice. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes. (until the apple pieces are done, they shouldn’t disintegrate) Stir every now and then. Mix the vanilla pudding powder with a little apple juice until smooth and thicken the apple compote.
  2. For the crispy mixture, melt the butter in a pan. Lightly toast the oat flakes, sunflower seeds, hazelnuts and sugar while stirring. Stir the raisins into the crispy mixture and allow to cool.
  3. For the cinnamon cream, whip the cream with the sugar and cinnamon until stiff. Alternately pour the compote with the crispy mixture into glasses. Sprinkle the surface with cinnamon. Enjoy your meal!
