Apple-ginger punch with chili

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml black tea
  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 3 carnations
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 chili pepper(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the ginger and slice thinly. Halve, deseed, and finely chop the chili. Combine the tea and apple juice in a saucepan. Add the ginger, chili, cloves, and cinnamon and heat for about 10 minutes, but do not boil. Dice the apple. Strain the punch through a sieve. Add the sugar and pour into glasses. Add the diced apple and serve.
