Apple-Goji Crumble

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g apple
  • ½ lime(s), untreated or organic, juice and zest
  • 2 tbsp goji berries, fresh
  • 25 g oat flakes, fine
  • 20 g brown cane sugar
  • 20 g wholemeal flour
  • 20 g butter
  • some tonka bean shavings

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, core, and dice the apple. Place the cubes in ovenproof baking dishes, drizzle with lime juice and zest. Scatter the goji berries over the top. Make crumbles from the oats, sugar, flour, butter, and tonka bean zest and sprinkle over the crumble. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the crumble for about 20 minutes. The baking time is based on two servings and may vary depending on the size of the dish. A large dish with crumble will probably take about 40 minutes. 2 servings refer to dessert portions and should otherwise be considered a main course for one person (with starter soup).
