Apple hash brown

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 small apple
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 handful of seedless grapes
  • 2 tbsp oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon powder, as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Healthy and crispy

Heat the honey in a small nonstick pan, add the oats, and let them caramelize slightly. If you like, you can also add a little cinnamon. Wash the apple, core it, and coarsely grate it with the peel. Place it in a bowl and immediately toss with a little lemon juice to prevent it from overbrowning. Wash and halve the grapes, then toss with the grated apple. Finally, stir in the toasted honey-flavored oats. Serve in a dessert bowl. This is a light snack, breakfast, or dessert that’s not sweet but tastes deliciously fruity and crunchy.
