Apple Hazelnut Tart
The perfect apple hazelnut tart recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 gr Flour
- 250 gr Sugar
- 250 gr Cold and diced butter
- 2 Egg yolk
- 4 tbsp Cold water
- 4 Apples
- 3 tbsp Ground hazelnut
- 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
- Mix the flour, 200g sugar and butter in a food processor to make a crumble.
- Add the egg yolk and the cold water and knead into a dough.
- Chill for 1 hour.
- In the meantime, peel the apples and cut into small pieces. Cook until soft in a saucepan with 50 grams of sugar. Add the ground hazelnuts. Put aside.
- Divide the dough into two pieces. Roll out a piece of dough, paste in the mold and dust with flour and place the dough on top. Fill with the apple mixture.
- Roll out the other part of the dough and cut into 2 cm long pieces and place over the tart so that a grid pattern is created.
- Bake at 180 degrees golden yellow. Dust with powdered sugar
