Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 3 apples
  • Oil, for frying
  • powdered sugar
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix flour, eggs, salt, sugar, and milk into a smooth batter and let it rest for 30 minutes. Peel the apples, slice them into small pieces, and mix them into the batter. Heat plenty of oil in a pan, place small pieces of the batter into the hot oil, and fry until crispy brown on each side. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon before serving. Or: Peel 5 apples, core them, and cut them into 1 cm thick slices. Dip the apple slices into the batter specified above and fry in plenty of hot oil.
