Apple jam with cinnamon

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apple
  • 500 g gelling sugar
  • ½ tbsp, heaped cinnamon
  • 250 ml water
  • n. B. alcohol, e.g. rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 34 minutes

Peel and core the apples. Boil the apples in a pot with the water until soft. Then puree the apples. Add the gelling sugar and cinnamon. Let it boil for 4 minutes. Pour the apple jam into jam jars. Lightly moisten the inside of the lids with alcohol. Then screw the jars tightly shut and turn them upside down to create a vacuum. After about an hour, turn them upside down again.
